As promised, here is Issue #1 of No One Rules OK, a zine from Bedford in the English midlands. Thanks be to Justin for the zine, and for the mountain of live recordings (some of which I will post here in due time)
The Toasters are celebrating their 30th birthday, and I managed to catch this show at the Boston Music Room, Tufnell Park. After listening to the band's music for more than 15 years, this gig is the only time I have ever seen them live ! The Toasters plan to tour Australia in 2012 (pending appocalyptic outcomes), we eagerly await ...
Citizen Fish have a new album called "Goods", their first in many years and worth the wait I reckon. They play quite a few songs from the new album here - a full 15 song set. If you havent gotten "Goods" yet, get it from their website www.citizenfish.com
The Allniters reformed for one night only, to help launch the book "Stark Raving Mod", at the Powerhouse Museum, along with Aussie mod bands the Sets, Division 4 and The Introverts. Singer Pete (pictured) flew in from his new home of Tokyo (somewhere North of Queensland) especially for the gig !
This is the first in a series of short books chronicling the history of anarchist protest and dissidence in Australia. One of my favourite reads of all time, I will soon post the secoond edition "How to Stop Whining And Start Living" (I'm told there's a third, but I don't have it..) - My edition was published by SCAM publications and also mentions Political Hooligan Publications (Sydney, 1996)
This Tour Snuck Up on Me - I only found out about it this week ! There is a gig in Arncliffe (Sydney) this Saturday. Check details on the facebook page:
The recording below was given to me with thanks by Justin from Bedford UK who does a zine called "No On Rules, OK" - I will post some issues of "No One Rules" in coming weeks, #2 has an interview with Steve which was done at this very gig:
Bad Manners are Returning to Australia for the first time in 8 years and I'm fully excited about seeing them again, so compiled these few tracks. Tequila and Big 5 werent originally Bad Manners songs, but well associated with them.

This project was talked about for many years, but sadly never eventuated - here are songs from The Porkers, Toe To Toe and two songs each from Area 7 and Gilgamesh. If anyone knows of any others floating around, please let me know
